Did you know? » Wooden pallets make the world go around

The world currently uses around 5 billion pallets!

Wood from our pine forests is used to make wooden pallets.

They are flat wooden bases that help make moving goods easier. They're designed to be easy to pick up and move by machinery like forklifts.

You'll find pallets in factories, supermarkets, warehouses, food producers... pretty much every industry that needs to store and move goods in bulk will have pallets as part of their everyday equipment.

Wooden pallets are so important that the people making these were considered essential workers during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
